This policy explains what information Answerhand AI ("we," "I," "us"), operated by Lance Rice, doing business as Answerhand AI in Columbia City, Indiana, collects through answerhandai.com and through the AI receptionist service, and how it is used.
Information from this website
When you fill out the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, phone, email, type of business, and best time to reach you. The form is processed by Formspree. We use this only to contact you about Answerhand AI.
Founding member deposits
Deposits are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of payment information is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Calls handled by the AI receptionist
When someone calls a client business that uses Answerhand AI, the AI tells the caller it is an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded. Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries are stored with our voice platform provider, Retell AI, and are used only to run and improve that client's service (for example, sending call summaries and booking appointments).
We keep recordings and transcripts for 1 month unless the client asks us to delete them sooner.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal information. We don't use call data for advertising.
Who we share with
Only the service providers needed to run the service (such as our voice platform, Formspree, Stripe, and the client's own calendar, CRM, or Google Sheet if they connect one), or when the law requires it.
Deleting your information
Clients can ask us to delete recordings, transcripts, or account information at any time. Callers who want their information removed can contact the business they called or contact us directly.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
